  • Sweet Ride! - 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Finally picked up my Gen Coupe and its a blast to drive! Ive always wanted a rear drive coupe and have to say Im most satisfied. Got mine for $31,500 and is the best money Ive ever spent. Too much fun. Super smooth shifter, love the limited-slip diff, the Brembos are fantastic! You must get the track version if you get one! Why not spend a few more bucks and really deck it out. The car is so incredibly solid feeling. A friend of mine has a 350z and it already looks out dated. The Z is definitely a fun ride, but not for the price and the difference in technology compared to the Gen Coupe. Did anyone hear Hyundai spent around $700 mil and 100 engineers developing this platform?

I bought my 2.ot in december and love this car, maybe should have gotten the v6, but still very happy. The acceleration is very nice for the size of the engine. I havent noticed any of the turbo lag that many have noted, just learned the sweet spots I guess. Fit and finish is nice although I could do without the silver painted plastic masquerading as chrome. Looks are great, interior is well laid out and comfortable. Handling is great, ride is nice. Great car especially for the money

My 1st Hyundai. Previous car was a 2007 VW GTI (owned for 3 years). Reliability Mechanical issues: None to date. Electrical issues: Sterno once slow to respond (Winters day 12 deg F). No problems since. Trim issues: None to date Performance Engine: strong, very smooth and quiet. Try to stay in Auto mode now as quite easy to chug along at 65 mph in 4th gear without noticing. Gearbox: Smooth, fast response. Suspension: Planted but can sometimes feel as though your tires need inflating slightly (when they dont). Overall Impression: This is an excellent car & fun to drive. Knocks the spots off the GTI I owned and that car usually receives 5 top ratings in most magazines.

This car is so fun to drive. I love the way it looks and handles. The comfort is amazing and the stereo and Bluetooth connection to my iphone is incredible. It is beautiful to look at and has the problem to roll with the big boys.

  • Best Toy anyone could ever buy with 32k. - 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Ive been waiting for this coupe to come out since last winter. M3, Infinity G37, Mustang were on my list, and I tested them all. M3 is not a daily commuter, it is more a race car on the track, so I passed. G37 I liked, yet the styling was too plain. Mustang was a nice car, yet everybody already has one. Then I got into Gen. Coupe. The first impression was stunning. Then I test drove it, I was sold. It was the perfect balance between M3 and Lexsus IS 350. It has great low end power, smooth all the way to 6500 rpm. I had so much fun in the Topanga Canyon Road next to PCH in Malibu. I was not much a fan of Hyundai, but ask me now, gotta say Im a big fan. Gotta drive one to believe it

  • Amazing Coupe for the $ - 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Was trying to decide between G37 and BMW 328...was driving by the Hyundai dealership and decided I would check out the GCoupe just for kicks. Wow, I was immediately impressed. While its not a G37 and its not a BMW, it is pretty darn close..but way cheaper. Given the uncertainty in the economy, I thought maybe its best if I save some money this time around. I have not been disappointed. If it didnt have the Hyundai emblem, people would be paying big $ for this. Hyundai has definitely upped the ante with this one.

  • I would not buy this car again. - 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

I love the style of this car as do many people. That said my particular car has computer/electrical issues. I have had to have the radio replaced twice, an amplifier replaced, the driver door button replaced twice, and the push button start had an occasional "interrupt" in the brake connect that kept the car from starting quite a few times. Now these may seem minor, but somehow the computer/electrical system is damaging components in the car! Im very worried about what might be next. I have heard from another owner that his traction control siezed and caused him to have an accident. Hyundai replaced his car but the new one has issues too! Nothing worse than electrical issues.

I have had my car about three months. I had to take in shop for bluetooth microphone to be replaced. Now I have sputtering, dying, and one time the radio wouldnt even turn on. I love driving it. I maybe get 20 mpg in town. the handling is great, I customized mine and get lots of looks but notoriety is wearing off more with each problem.
